An Internet panel is a heterogeneous group of surfers mobilized (in return for reward), to give answers to surveys and questionnaires via the Internet.
The panel presents a meaningful alternative that joins traditional data collection methods (telephone, face-to-face, mail surveys. Its remarkable advantages as opposed to existing methods: cost reduction (a third of a telephone survey’s cost), short time periods, multimedia surveys (advertisements, pictures, jingles etc.), access to specific populations (students, youth, mothers, specific sectors etc.) and more.
