The Panels Ltd. Company that activates the first Internet panel in Israel Panel4All, is committed to the ethical standards determined by the Council for American Survey and Research Organization (CASRO, 2004).
For respondents it requires:
- They will to participate in surveys that are sent to them by the panel.
- Awareness of the goal of each survey and how their answers and personal information will be used.
- Satisfaction of their participation in the surveys.
- To be prepared to participate in surveys in an ongoing manner.
For Panels Ltd. It requires:
- Recruitment of those who appealed via the link for this purpose.
- Representation of those candidates with valid e-mail addresses only.
- To satisfy panelist expectations to receive surveys via the Internet.
- In the event that lists are received via e-mail, to clarify in advance that all the addressees are informed in advance that they are expected to participate in the Internet panel.
- To allow every panelist to remove themselves from the database at any given time.
- To use information about the panelists for declared purposes only.
Immunity: The identity of participants will be completely protected from all parties. Likewise answers that may allow for the identification of a respondent unless requested or agreed to by the respondent during the survey.
In the case of such an agreement, the following must be upheld:
- Information transferred to the party requesting the research must be as short and as to the point as possible.
- The information will only be used for relevant needs like the control of the panels’ response or assistance in decision-making with regards to an additional analysis of the data.
- The information cannot be used for direct mail / marketing purposes.
